Imran has been a keynote speaker at global conferences in North and Central America, Europe and Asia, including presentations on digital and entrepreneurial opportunities to business leaders in Mexico, Singapore and Jakarta and at the Asia Business Conference at MIT in 2016.

  • Creating, launching and leading the Digital practice while concurrently leading global innovation initiatives across the organization as chief technology officer with NTT Data, the 6th largest technology consulting company in the world with 75,000 employees in 45 countries and $16 billion in annual revenue

  • Consulting with clients on realizing the business value of digital investments and on strategies to compete successfully with the hottest upstarts in their industry

  • Executing global initiatives focused on Disruptive, Incremental, Top Down, Grassroots, Industry- specific and Horizontal innovation and the mechanisms for developing, measuring and creating impact across 4 continents

  • Leading a 7,000-person, $750 million technology consulting organization spanning North America, Europe and Asia for Keane, providing end to end IT services from strategy to implementation and outsourcing.

  • Achieving excellent results in 2 successful software product and services startups:

    • Founding and serving as Chairman and CEO of netNumina, a technology strategy and consulting firm, and growing the company from a 15-person startup to one of Computerworld’s Top 100 emerging companies and Inc 500’s fastest growing businesses; the company was sold to Keane in 2005.

    • Playing a key role in the growth of Open Environment, a leading middleware product company, as a founding member of a 10-person startup that went public with an IPO in 1995.

  • Currently teaching courses on Entrepreneurship and Innovation as faculty member at the MIT Sloan School of Management, one of the leading universities for technology innovation in the world.

  • Imran teaches graduate courses on a variety of topics including Disruptive Technologies, New Business Models, Software and Internet Entrepreneurship and Global Innovation in Large Companies.

  • He has started and developed entrepreneurial ecosystems in Central America and South Asia

  • Founded and served as Global President of OPEN, an entrepreneurship and leadership organization, with 5000+ executives and entrepreneurs in 11 cities around the world

  • Imran is a graduate of Brown University and did post-graduate work at Harvard. He also holds a patent for an Internet security technology that he developed jointly with Citibank.
